hello m8 long time no speak

Hi Ash,
could I quiz you a bit on setting up my tube lights please?
On the ballasts there's an earth wire hole at the end that goes toward the mains. Is the earth a necessity on these?
It's a bugger to get the wiresinto the ballast isn't it! Is there a special tool? I was using a fine screwdriver to push down but it was really hit and miss whether they gripped and stayed fixed.
I'm doing bits of prep jobs each night this week. Lots to do still :-)
